Days out

Have been really busy in the past week. Most of the time not at home.
Went to Hainan Island, China on Dec 1 - 6.
Not very fun. Knew that before I go. lol
Some random things...
1) The weather is above 20 °C, which is quite nice. But the UV ray very strong. =.="
2) The food are 'more salt and oil'.
3) Something I dislike bout the China people is that they smoke a lot, no matter it is in the open area, crowded area or closed area - elevator. Makes it difficult to breathe.
4) And another thing, some of them are quite rude. They will push to get to the front in crowded areas and they talk very loudly - sounds like quarreling. This is what I observed from the 'many' trips to China.

So, back to story.
Day 1
Woke up at 2am and left for airport at 3am. The flight to Hainan is at 7am. Taking Air Asia.
We lined up at the wrong line and became the last to board the plane. lol
Arrived in Haikou Meilan International Airport at about 10am.
Checked in at Seaview International Hotel which is in the middle of the city and free to walk around for the rest of the day. Actually there is no sea view.
The city is quite dull. What could we expect from a city on an island?
The horizon??
Ahh...KL. Can see KLCC, KL Tower and Times Square clearly.

Not far away.
Genting

This time I chose to sit beside the window.
My dad went and bought this fried chicken. Spicy!

Day 2
Went to 五公祠 - some kind of historical place.

With bro

Then went to don't-know-what institution. lol

Me, bro, Phei Yee(cousin sis's daughter), Win Shen(another cousin sis's son)
Makes me looks so short. I'm short lol

Next is Hainan Tropical Bird Park.
'yuen yang'
The partner is a little far away.

Look so fake but the colour and everything very nice.
Wanna snap a pair swimming in the pond but they ran away lolz. Maybe too many people.
Turkey
Gonna roast you for X'mas. lol

Next, went to BOAO Aquapolis.

Malaysia flag is 2nd from right
Boao Forum for Asia Inaugural Ceremony

Then, take a boat ride to the beach which separates the seawater and the river water.
Still holding my jacket. No matter how strong the sunlight might seems, the wind is still cold. Not cooling, but COLD.

Next is Xinglong Tropical Botanical Garden.
Most of the plants exist in Malaysia.
Only the Vanilla plants attract my attention.
The thing that looks like bean is where the vanilla smell comes from.

Later check in at Aegent Lake Hotel. Love this place.
Can see a beautiful lake when look out from the hotel room's window.
And the air in the morning is so fresh.

Day 3
Early morning go to Nanwan Monkey Islet.
Monkeys running freely everywhere. Have to take care of own properties properly.
Saw a kid tripped on a monkey and fall with a blur look. lol
Have to beware of monkeys above cos they will simply pee as they like..haha.

With my relativesMonkey holding a flag.
Monkey sitting beside bathing pool- mini swimming pool.Mummy monkey carrying baby monkey. Baby monkeys are so cute.Jail for the naughty monkeys.

Next is Yalong Bay. Went there just to have a look not to play.

Next, went to Dadong Sea.
Then to a place call 相聚鹿回頭.
There is a 2-headed girl here. Paid 3 yuan to see her.

After dinner, went to SanYa(三亚) Beautycrown Culture Centre to watch performance-浪漫天涯.
They gave everyone a papermade crown and a fan. lol Looks like birthday party.
Sanya is quite warm like Malaysia. Not far from Haikou but big temperature difference.
Stayed 1 night in Orient Bay-view Hotel.

Day 4
Went to buy silk. Actually I'm currently using a silk blanket which is bought last year.
But now buy another larger one.
Later went to '天涯海角'. So freaking hot. Nearly got sunburn there. lol
Not everyone went so we have limited time and didn't get to see the main attraction cos too far away. Don't want to keep others waiting.
This place is beautiful.

The few stones at the far end are the main attraction. Quite a distance.
2 big whale. How they make it. Actually there are 2 big dragons too.
The huge Olympic torch

Then went to Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone.
Longevity tortoise
The red ribbons at the back are for writing wishes and blessings.
Longevity

Went to see the 108m Guan Yin statue on south sea.
The Kuan Yin have three different sides holding different things-a golden book, lotus and another don't know.
Take elevator and walk up stairs to the Guan Yin's feet.
Only those who stayed in the Nanshan Hotel are allowed to get up there. Special privileges. lol
The Guan Yin's toe
Stayed in Nanshan Hotel so get to see the Guan Yin all day.
Look out the hotel room's window then can see it.
Dinnertime also can see from the restaurant. Night time sit in lobby also can see.
Early morning wake up see again. Sunset and sunrise also look at it. Crazy..haha
Although is 5 star hotel but in hill area. Once enter room then saw a butterfly and a lizard. Then found 2 worms at the corner.
There is a sign outside telling to beware of snakes.
Ate vegetarian food for dinner.
The drink very expensive.

In just 1 day I saw more than 20 aeroplanes flying over my head.

Day 5
With my cousin sis

Have to travel all the way back to Haikou. Few hours ride but stop in few places to buy some local products.
Went to Ever green park before going back to Seaview International Hotel for dinner.

Day 6
Went to the airport after breakfast.
The flight back to M'sia was supposed to be at 10.55am. But they delayed it to 11.30am.
We arrived right on time before the rain starts. Otherwise we will be all wet.
A layer of fluffy clouds outside. Very cloudy.
The oil palm tree shows that we are near KLIA.
A LOT of oil palm trees around KLIA.

At night went to my aunty's place.
The next day is my cousin bro's wedding so my mum went and help out a little.

The next day, Dec 7, I can't go for my cousin bro's wedding. Have to go to UPM Engineering Faculty to sit for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test(JLPT). I'm sitting for Level 4 only, which is the easiest.
There are more than 1000 examinees sitting for Level 4. Lots of people and cars.
My registration number is 40016(num 16) so I will be in the Dewan Peperiksaan 1 where 203 other examinees will be.
Altogether 3 papers.
Writing/Vocabulary - 25 minutes, 40 questions
Listening - 25 minutes, 8 questions for part 1 and 9 questions for part 2
Reading/ Grammar - 50 minutes, 47 questions

I shoot for most of the questions. lol
I think I will be one of the failure. The results will come out about the same time as SPM results.
No time to study. Even if there is I won't understand much.
I saw Rayi for the 1st time after the test but she didn't see me. haha

Today morning I was clearing some things out from my room.
Went to Mid Valley with MK, June, Bea, Kelly and Ray to look for prom costume at 4pm.
I bought mine but need some adjustment.
It is a little heavy though.
Left at bout 8pm. Then went to Leisure Mall.
Me and June went to eat sushi while Bea and Ray went for hairdo in Snips.
Reach home already nearly 11pm. Parents sure got say something.
